The Devastating News

So, let’s start from the beginning. It was March 14th, just a regular day, when my world was turned upside down. I was diagnosed with cancer. And not just any cancer. By April 12th, a PET scan and biopsy revealed I had stage four Ampullary cancer. It had metastasized to my liver. For those who don’t know, Ampullary cancer is this rare, dangerous kind found at the top of the small intestine. The doctors in California didn’t give me much hope. They told me I had only a few months left, even with chemotherapy. It was like receiving a death sentence.

Searching for a Miracle

But I wasn’t ready to give up. I couldn’t just accept that this was the end. So, I dived into research, desperate to find something, anything, that could help me. And about Tijuana, I want to clear up some misconceptions. It’s a beautiful, vibrant city. My husband and I used Uber to get around, visiting the beach and enjoying the local culture. The people were warm and friendly, just like any other large city. Yes, you have to be cautious, but that’s true anywhere.

I’m sharing my story because I want you to know that there is hope. If you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, especially if you’re in the advanced stages, don’t give up.
